Summer Camps 2020

We are happy to announce that Ramapo Parks & Recreation will offer three (3) summer camps options, all with limited capacity.
If you registered your child for summer camp earlier this year, and have not already cancelled your enrollment, you will be contacted directly. 

MINI CAMP at JTS CENTER

The following guidelines will be in effect at camp sites:

  1. Three (3) counselors with every ten (10) campers; no intermingling between groups at any time.
  2. Activities will be limited to no-contact activities that allow for social distancing and limited shared equipment.
  3. Hand sanitizing stations will be set up throughout sites.
  4. Parents will not be allowed to get out of cars during drop-off or pick-up. Methods will be in place to make this process safe and seamless for campers and staff.
  5. Staff will wear masks throghout the day, campers will wear masks during rotations when they may pass other groups. (Staff will be provided with 'mask breaks' during the day.)
  6. Staff will run all programming for their campers each day with their own sets of supplies.
  7. No bussing, no trips, no on-site entertainment.
  8. Temperature checks for staff and campers daily.
  9. Rainy day and indoor activities will be in predetermined locations for each group and will remain throughout the summer.

NO ON-SITE REGISTRATIONS, all camp enrollments must be processed by the Parks & Recreation Administrative Office.
Camp registration form must be completed in full, and you must include a current immunization record signed/stamped by a doctor. NO EXCEPTIONS.

ALL CAMP FEES MUST BE PAID IN FULL FOR YOUR CHILD TO ATTEND CAMP. NO EXCEPTIONS.        
                                                    
                                                                                                       
TRANSPORTATION is not provided by the Town to and from camp. Parents will drop-off and pick-up campers.

LUNCH must be provided by parents for Full Day Camps. Mini Camp parents should send snacks and water each day. No on-site food or refrigeration are available at camps.     

IMMUNIZATION RECORD is required and must be submitted at the time of registration. A copy of your child's immunization record with doctor's signature or stamp will be required for 2020.

BEHAVIOR POLICY dictates that campers not working to ensure the safety and fun of the group may be removed from the group temporarily, or permanently if necessary, to maintain group cohesiveness. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR CHILDREN DISMISSED FROM CAMP.

REFUNDS: NO REFUNDS/CREDTS once camp has begun.
