Summer Camps

Summer CampsJoin us for the summer at one of our Town of Ramapo Summer Camps! Led by dedicated veteran staff our camps provide a safe, fun and active environment in which children can develop new skills, self-esteem and new friendships. We pride ourselves on offering action-packed, varied and exciting camps.

CAMP REGISTRATION is ongoing until a camp is filled or deadline for enrollment is reached. We accept cash, check or major credit card for camp payments until the Friday June 8, 2018 deadline. THEREAFTER only cash or credit card payments will be accepted. NO EXCEPTIONS.

LATE REGISTRATION: After Friday June 8, 2018 camp fees will increase as follows: FULL DAY CAMPS: $50/per camper and MINI CAMPS: $25/per camper

DEADLINES: Camp enrollments will be accepted until Friday June 22, 2018 noting that after Friday June 8, 2018 the fees will increase as listed above.

PAYMENT PLANS: Available for full day camps, this option requires completion of the Payment Plan Commitment Form and payment of half the total enrollment fees PLUS a $25 administrative charge. The balance is due in full by Friday June 8, 2018 or a late fee of $25 will be assessed. ALL CAMP FEES MUST BE PAID IN FULL FOR YOUR CHILD TO ATTEND CAMP. NO EXCEPTIONS.

TRANSPORTATION: There is no transportation provided by the Town. Parents will drop-off and pick-up campers.

LUNCHES: Mini camp children should bring a drink and snack each day. All full day camps require campers to bring drinks, water and lunch each day unless attending a trip where lunch is provided. No on-site food or refrigeration is available. (Camp Scuffy offers a lunch service for a fee, see under Camp Scuffy heading)

IMMUNIZATIONS: Immunization record is required and must be submitted at the time of registration; all dates must be handwritten by the parent/guardian directly onto our camp form. No attachments. No exceptions.

BEHAVIOR POLICY: Campers not working to ensure the safety and fun of the group may be removed from the group temporarily, or permanently if necessary, to maintain group cohesiveness. Any incidents that involve violence will not be tolerated; camper may be sent home immediately and suspended for the following day. If incidents persist, child may be removed from camp permanently. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR CHILDREN DISMISSED FROM CAMP.

REFUNDS: There is a $50 surcharge on camp cancellations. Refunds must be requested in writing. Medical reasons require a doctor's note. No refunds after June 25, 2018; a credit minus the surcharge will be granted. NO REFUNDS/CREDITS after camp has begun.
